Copenhagen Legal K/S is owned by Mentor Tax Accounting SMBA, which has been established to help and give counsel to legal and accounting firms that are not large enough to have their own in-house tax departments.

Thorbjørn Kristian Kelstrup Henriksen is head of Copenhagen Legal K/S. Henriksen is a Master of Tax Law (MTL) from Copenhagen Business School and has 13 years of experience in tax law (see his CV here).

The main mission of Copenhagen Legal is to help international (non-Danish) companies that wish to enter the EU via Denmark. Generally these companies choose low-tax countries like Gibraltar, Ireland, Cyprus or Malta, but it is the considered opinion of Copenhagen Legal that Denmark can in many ways compete with these countries and that Denmark has a much more serious profile.

Copenhagen Legal believe that companies should investigate Denmark and see if the country can offer the same benefits before using one of the well-known low-tax countries, which are typically only known for their low-tax status.
